Music

To Family:

Christmas 2007:

  • David Lanz - The First Noel/Christmas Eve Waltz. (Ben) Ok, our piano sounds a LOT better than this, but to get it off the piano, I had to hook it up to my laptop, which only has a mono line-in and aside from losing the stereo aspect of it, the laptop circuitry was so noisy that cleaning it up degraded the sound further. I’ll either have to get a cheap second computer with a good sound card, or some other device to record to in the future.
  • O Holy Night. (Leticia). She played this in church on Sunday and did marvelously. I decided to leave the noise in because the piano sounds better, even with the clicks and hiss.

I play piano and I’ve composed a few things here and there. One piece that isn’t too bad is an arrangement of a beautiful hymn: Each Life That Touches Ours For Good.

You can use this music in any non-commercial setting. Also, I wouldn’t mind you shooting me an e-mail just to let me know where you’re using it (just for my curiousity).

  1. Sweet. I’ve been looking everywhere for a copy of this arrangement.

  2. It’s a lovely piece.

  3. Synchronisity! I was about to begin meditating when I discovered your illustrated music. It calmed my mind while reminding me this is Christmas Eve. Thank you for sharing your special talent and for making this a very special time.
