Working on Bing.com for the last 9 months or so has been exhilarating. Finally, we can show the world the great stuff we’ve been doing. Here is (I think) the first TV commercial about Bing.com, running as of today.
I kissed Google goodbye more than a year ago and haven’t looked back. I think once people start using Bing, they’re going to do the same.
Loved it. I have been using Bing from day 1 and I just love it. The one thing that is bothering me is, every now and then I go back to google to see whether I am getting the best search results. I guess this is because I used google for so long.
Back when Microsoft Live Search was around, I went through several phases of trying to switch to it as my main search provider. Each time, I fell back to Google after a week or so.
When Bing launched, I decided it was time to make the switch again. So far, I’ve stuck with Bing and think I will for a long time to come.
The maps on Bing are far superior to any I’ve encountered to date. Excellent job on that feature. The search is top notch as well. I’ve not once had to go to another engine to find what I’m looking for. So far, so good.
I’ve yet to dig into the other features on Bing, but I prefer a search engine to be a simple up-front, fast loading portal for quick queries. Keep up the good work.
